WHAT YEAR DID YOU ATTEND FEMPOWER AFRICA AND WHAT DID YOU LEARN FROM THE CONFERENCE?

Having volunteered and attended Fempower conferences, I have learnt the importance of consistent personal development, how to maximize opportunities and the value of mentorship, valuable and profitable relationships.

I have also learnt how to  position myself for international opportunities as a person of value.

WHAT DOES FEMALE EMPOWERMENT (FEMPOWER) MEAN TO YOU?

Female Empowerment to me means creating an enabling environment and providing adequate resources for women and girls to thrive. Female empowerment means global empowerment because the female man is the key to global emancipation, given that she builds from the smallest unit of the society; the family up to the largest unit.

Fempower events have provided this by changing the normal narrative, bringing women together and providing them with all the resources they need; from mental to social to financial resources, to allow them to live the best version of their lives.

WHAT ADVICE/TIPS DO YOU HAVE FOR YOUNG BUSINESS/CAREER WOMEN, TO HELP THEM BUILD AND MAINTAIN VALUABLE RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHER WOMEN?

For young business/career women,my advice will be:

1. Love God

2. Love and believe in yourself

3. Seek to learn and improve everyday

4. Seek collaboration over competition

5. Get a mentor and don’t be scared to ask questions

6. Attend Fempower events and volunteer

WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST INSPIRATION?

My biggest inspiration is the knowledge that God is my Father and because of this, I am limitless. I get inspired by successful women – Women who are breaking limitations to be the best versions of themselves while creating an impact. The women of Bestie Network Africa inspire me.
